Hello! My name is Brittany Wallace, I am a Marriage and Family Therapy student intern at Capella University. I believe that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and valued. My work centers on helping individuals, couples, families, and children build healthier communication with themselves and each other. Which will help navigate grief, different life transitions and stages, self-image, and reconnect with the parts of themselves and each other that may have gotten lost along the way.

Before entering the field, I spent five years as a teacher and continue to serve as a senior advocate. These experiences that taught me the power of patience, empathy, and lifelong growth. I approach sessions with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine love for helping people rediscover their strengths.

In sessions, I aim to create a safe, open space where happiness and vulnerability can coexist, and where clients feel empowered to move forward with confidence and compassion.

When I’m not in session, I’m likely spending time with my fiancé (we’re getting married in 2026!), my friend group or my four beloved cats!

Katie Grabow LSCSW, LCSW, CEDS

she/her/hers

Katie strives to provide a supportive and compassionate environment no matter where you are in your journey. We often avoid seeking help for fear we just haven't tried hard enough, lack motivation, or self-discipline. We can lose sight of our authentic selves, feel disconnected from loved ones, and feeling overwhelmed with day to day life.

It is through her own recovery from an eating disorder that allows Katie to provide an empathetic, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment throughout your journey. There is no one size fits all approach to recovery, and Katie incorporates a mix of Mindfulness Skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Temperament Based Therapy with Supports(TBT-S), and EMDR trained individualized approach for each client.

Katie accepts both Telehealth and in-person appointments at our MO & KS locations. She also accepts all insurances, private pay and sliding scale patients by request only. Insurance pre-auth may be required.

Katy believes in the HAES (Health At Every Size) approach to nutrition and she strongly believes that nutrition can be used as medicine. Katy takes an intentional therapeutic approach to understand how the psychological, physical, emotional, and social aspects impact how you fuel and care for your body. Katy values trust and honesty with her clients, and is very open and supportive to anyone who is seeking help. She understands that nutrition care is often not affordable and insurance may deny those seeking nutrition therapy, so she does offer reduced rates on a case-by-case basis for her nutrition services.

Katy accepts both Telehealth and in-person appointments at our MO & KS locations. Katy accepts United Healthcare, BCBS and Aetna insurances. Insurance pre-auth may be required. â€‹â€‹

She/her

Welcome to a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to reconnect with yourself.

With a background as a Family Life Educator and Kundalini Yoga and breathwork instructor, currently training as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I bring both practical guidance and therapeutic insight into each session. My work is grounded in compassion, respect, and skill building.

I work with individuals, couples, and children navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and patterns that no longer feel aligned. Together, we focus not only on understanding your experiences, but on building the tools and awareness needed to create meaningful, lasting change.

Integrating nervous system regulation and somatic practices, I help you move beyond insight alone, supporting you in feeling more regulated, connected, and empowered in your daily life.

When I'm not in session, I'm practicing wellness, in the kitchen with my 4 kids or on a long walk.
